From Concept to CTV

Familial chylomicronemia syndrome (FCS) is a rare genetic disease characterized by the inability to process dietary fat, leading to extremely elevated triglyceride levels and painful pancreatitis attacks. With no effective treatment and limited awareness among healthcare professionals, people with FCS were forced to grapple with this monster on their own. When the first treatment for FCS was approved in late 2024, this community finally gained the ability to tame this disease.

Representing FCS as a monster resonated as a powerful metaphor for their struggle among people with FCS in market research.

The campaign was brought to life through CTV and run across multiple streaming platforms, including CBS, ABC, and NBCUniversal.

Within the first month, the spot garnered 2.7 million views, was streamed on 163k separate devices, and had a 97% completion rate.
