An HCP Campaign That Tugs at The [Chylomicron Balloon] Strings

With only 1-13 per million people estimated to have FCS, many HCPs were unfamiliar with it, while those who came across it were frustrated by the lack of effective treatments. Patients were either accused of hiding poor diets and alcoholism, or sent off with a fibrate and told not to eat fat. Through its representation of chylomicrons (triglyceride-rich lipoproteins) as the burden this patient population can now release, the  "Celebrate" campaign addressed the need to educate HCPs on this condition, while acknowledging the feeling of relief felt by treaters and patients alike.

Both the Consumer and HCP Campaigns Received Industry Recognition

The HCP and Patient campaigns were featured as  MM&M's "Campaign of the Week"  in March of 2025 and in a Fierce Pharma article, where Ionis' Chief Commercial Officer referred to the consumer campaign as one of the best he's seen in 25 years in the industry.
